Nearly 500 guests attended the Ninth Annual Archbishop’s Gala at the Ritz Carlton to benefit the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation (TTEF) on April 18, 2018. The event raised more than $750,000 in support of scholarships for children to attend the parochial or private elementary school of their choice. The Keynote Speaker was Archbishop Robert J. Carlson. Honored Guest Speaker was Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann, who received the Sister Mary Ann Eckhoff Award presented by TTEF Board Chairman Kevin Short. Michael P. McMillan of the Urban League served as Master of Ceremonies. SLUH Senior and MHT alumni Damen Alexander was the featured student speaker, and shared the impact of his TTEF scholarship on his past, present, and future aspirations.
Since its inception in 1991, TTEF has raised nearly $100 million for scholarships and has grown into the 4th largest elementary school scholarship foundation in the U.S.
